This incredible building is home to several "makers", artisans who work in wood, paper, fibre, textiles etc, as well as to an interactive display of Burnie's industrious past.
The views across Burnie's beaches and town are breathtaking, and while the architecture of the Workshop often attracts comments and criticism, I'm a fan. It is light, big and innovative.
The Maker's Workshop website is worth a sticky beak. Click here to see more.
