I am in the middle of making these great music necklaces, something about working with really old paper that makes it extra special. I'm hoping they will be ready to take to the home shopping night Otter and Wombat is going to on Thurs in Devonport to raise money for the local flood victims. This map pendant will certainly be going! I'm really happy with the way they have come out and hope they find a new home soon.
On the hunt for all things retro at op shops recently, I came across a bundle of very retro sewing patterns! While I hate following patterns when I sew and dont have a daughter, I would LOVE to spend a sunday whipping up that sausage dog dress!It is just gorgeous. Last year I was lucky enough to spend a couple of sundays sewing with girlfriends and am hoping time and husband's allow for us to go again soon. Husband's allow = babysitting of course!
I had some fun creating my own Keep Calm and Carry On poster today at www.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk Mine was Keep Calm and Mother On. Such a great chance to put a personal stamp on a classic poster!
