Online Shopping....
After an absence of over 12 months, I've finally restocked my Made It store! Here is the link www.madeit.com.au/otterandwombat
It was such fun to be able to upload some new goodies, although I have to admit my photography skills were MORE than challenged. You know when you see products for sale at online stores and they appear to have been taken out of a magazine style photo shoot? Well....sadly mine don't resemble that kind of crispness. Lets just say my talents lie elsewhere!
I recently took delivery of some larger square tiles - 3.5cm x 3.5cm. I'm absolutely loving them! They are perfect brooch size as they allow larger images to fit comfortably. I've got some fabbo cartoon style pics ready to mount and list for sale in the coming week.
The two images are a perfect example of some I've been wanting to use for ages and ages but they were too big for my smaller sized wooden tiles. Hooray - problem solved!
I've also been playing around with polymer clay/Fimo......
I don't have one of those fancy clay rolling tools that creates perfectly round balls. So I roll mine by hand and squish them flat! It is alot of fun but I'm finding it hard to be patient and not fiddle with the disc before it is baked! The kind postman delivered some black and lemon polymer clay today......hmmmmm what to do!
Hope you are all well. Love Zoe xxx

Press!
Today I have been celebrating my 15minutes of fame!
There was a lovely right-up in my local paper about the upcoming Festival in the Park (Ulverstone), with a photo of myself and my goodies. Naturally I bought a couple of copies for the scrapbook, and have been inundated with Facebook messages! Not the best photo, but who is ever happy with their photo eh!

Markets are a comin...
Im very excited to have been accepted into the exclusive Niche-all wrapped up market here in Tassie.
I have heard so many wonderful things about it.... Rumours of it being standing room only because of the volume of patrons....extra rooms being added at the last minute to fit people in...amazing new and emerging designers showcasing their work to thousands of interested and like-minded people...it sure sounds like an experience of a lifetime! But best of all, it being a fundraiser to help the St Giles Society (www.stgiles.org.au) who provide assistance to children living with a disability in Tasmania.
Otter and Wombat didnt make the cut for the Launceston markets (sob sob) but I was offered a spot at the newly created Hobart market. Although it means I will be driving from the very top of Tassie to the very bottom of Tassie, Im happy to be doing it so I can breathe Niche for myself. And hey, it might also mean a couple of kid-free nights (am now grinning!).
Next weekend I'll be setting up my stall as part of the Gallery of Portable Art in the Festival in the Park here in Ulverstone. http://www.festivalinthepark.org.au/ Im even having my mug shot taken next week by the local paper as part of the event promotion...and yes, I've managed to grab an appointment with the local magician, I mean my lovely hairdresser, to get those glistening greys covered in time! I'll be sure to put a copy of the clipping (newspaper, not hair) up on the blog for all to see.
My new rings featuring vintage wallpaper will be making their debut next weekend. Have a lovely weekend. xxx

Thrifting Finds
Thanks to my folks, Im now the proud owner of a 70-80's mini esky! Definately a young man's esky, complete with illustrations of all the things men of the day were into - car racing, motorbikes, bmx-ing etc! Love it!
A pair of Bambi vases picked up at my local 2nd hand shop - very kitch!
A MASSIVE bag of kid's blocks, featuring loads of these little beauties.
How could I pass this up when it was a whole $1!
In keeping with my flying duck obsession, these vintage kid's blocks were in the bag. Im not sure how the kids would have gone putting the scene together - it took me about 20mins! Maybe Im alittle slow.....
Photos to come after alot of airing and vacumming - RED VINTAGE AIRPORT SUITCASE!!! As well as a LEATHER DOCTOR'S BAG! Both in perfect condition, just alittle smelly from other people's clothes. But what is a bit of smell eh!
New Earring Range
Introducing a new earring range! Dictionary discs onto a stud earring. $14 a pair. Custom words requests would be most welcome, as well as suggestions!
Thank you for looking xxx

Announcing a New Stockist.....Cocoon Launceston
I'm still skipping up the hallway knowing that my goodies are now at home in Cocoon on George St Launceston. A wonderful shop that I have browsed many many times. Full of unique home wares, jewellery and stationery, and a great supporter of Tasmanian makers. And now....Otter and Wombat too! xxx
